I have loved being active and playing sports as early as I can remember. I was a tom boy that loved racing against the boys and playing basketball. I got out of the habit of exercising after my second child. My husband Rob and I started doing P90X and shortly after discovered CrossFit.
I starting training for triathlons two years ago. I loved the 3 disciplines of the sport. I quickly learned that cross training and strength training are an essential part in improving race performance. Rob encouraged me to try Manta Ray Fitness to have a good blend of CrossFit, HIIT, Yoga, and Pilates. During the first 30 days of the Manta Ray Fitness launch I ran my first half marathon. I really feel that Manta Ray Fitness helped me run faster and perform better in my triathlons as well. I have found a lot of success with the whole 30 elimination plan and Paleo life style.
I have learned so much about proper form and nutrition from the coaches. I am grateful to all the athletes that inspire and challenge me.
